Nanga Parbat rises alone above the Indus — a peak of ice and light that the Shina people have told stories about for centuries, home in legend to the fairies who guard its slopes.

We are building an ecosystem for these mountains: the trails and the routes, the history of the valleys and the people who live in them, the shelters along the way, and the gear, safety, and rescue that let more people meet the range with respect. It begins here, at the foot of the Killer Mountain, and it grows outward across the Pakistani Himalaya.
